Parc Esta is a new 99-years leasehold new launch that is the former Eunosville HUDC Enbloc. The top bid for the estate was submitted by Jardine Matheson Group Unit by MCL Land and marks one of the most iconic en-bloc plots of land sold to a private developer. Eunosville was previously a 330 units HUDC estate that which is the fourth successful collective sale concluded in June 2017.
The price submitted, at S$765 million, for this plot of land was also the 2nd highest after Farrer Court in 2007 which indicates that most of developers are positive about real estate market in Singapore and the limited plots of land under the Government Land Sales Programme is not enough to sustain the appetite of the developers in the currently upbeat real estate market.
Parc Esta Location
Parc Esta is located just across Eunos MRT Station (EW7), which is on the East West Line and is one of the main MRT Stations that serve the locals in Joo Chiat, Telok Kurau as well as the Eunos Estate. It is positioned near to Eunos Bus Interchange making the immediate area a transportation hub for locals living around the area. The station is named after Mohd Eunos Bin Abdullah.
The terminal has a slightly different design from other MRT Stations in the East West Line as it has a conventional Malay roof structure. This is in response to the fact that Eunos MRT Terminal is also close to the Geylang Serai Market as well as the Malay Village.
